Most of Nice is easily traversed on foot but when your weary feet need a rest or you take the urge to veer slightly off the beaten track, Lignes d'Azur's bus and tram system provides a convenient and efficient way of getting around.
A single journey on either the bus or the tram won't set you back more than EUR 1 and with all districts of Nice covered, you won't be short of places to visit. For the semi-nocturnal reveller, Lignes d'Azur operates a night service bus from 9.10pm to a fairly early 1.10am, ensuring you'll be tucked up in bed at a decent hour. If you're not ready to leave the party, the city's tram service begins at 4am, so you'll never be stranded.
