Terrific artisan coffee
Word to the wise: For a small extra fee, coffee connoisseurs can request their drinks to be brewed french-press, siphon or eva solo style.
If you're in need of a good brew, make a trip to Café Myriade. Opened by established baristas Anthony Benda and Scott Rao, this small Downtown cafe serves one of Montréal's best artisan coffees, brewed on their top-of-the-line Kees van der Westen Mirage machine. Better yet, a cup will set you back less than the price of a Starbucks latte.
The standard is so high here that it'll be a miracle if you need to ask for your drink to be remade. The cafe also serves up a selection of fresh pastries, so do as the locals do and pair your coffee with a croissant.
