Traditional Madrileño dishes in a welcoming family atmosphere
Popular plate: Order the succulent cocido, which is a chickpea-based stew prepared with vegetables, potatoes and meat.
Casa Carola has two locations. The original is on Calle de Padilla and is known and loved throughout the city for preparing possibly the best cocido in town. Though typically a winter specialty, their hearty cocido is served year-round.
Having a meal here, you'll feel as if you are a member of the family. The food tastes like it's home-cooked and the welcome you receive is as if you are a long-lost cousin.
