Krakow's best traditional delis

You can pick up decent Polish cheese or sausages at pretty much any convenience store in Krakow, but for something a little more luxurious head to a branch of Krakowski Kredens.

These wonderful little delis specialise in traditional products from Galicia, the historical region which encompassed parts of southern Poland and western Ukraine. Their shelves are crammed with preserves, pickles, pâtés and terrines - all elegantly presented in branded jars - and there are over 35 different kinds of cured ham and sausage to choose from.
