A cool gentleman's club
Noteworthy for: El Tocororo rose to popular acclaim as one of the city’s best paladares, but these days the food is less interesting than the cocktails.
Like a gentleman’s club from the days when Winston Churchill liked to smoke cigars and drink whisky here, El Tocororo is distinctly upper class. The leather sofas, walls adorned with books and American-style bar booths give it a lofty air befitting its drinks prices. Nonetheless, it is a popular drinking spot, and has live music every night from Monday to Saturday.
