Quirky Mexican fare that's causing a stir

Puta Madre is the fun loving restaurant with a mischievous and controversial name (it's a common Spanish expletive). Chilled out and laid back, the atmospheric bar is focused on burlesque and is as famous for its interiors as much as its hearty South American dishes and margaritas the size of fish bowls.

The Mexican restaurant has only been open since the back end of 2010 but it’s already a must-see on Gothenburg’s dining scene. It has been nominated for inclusion in the prestigious White Guide of Sweden’s best restaurants.
