Gotham Café

Award-winning pizza and plenty else besides

Popular Plate: The woodstone oven pizzas are named after New York districts. For maximum variety go for the Wall Street: an inventive take on the Four Seasons with tons of toppings.

The Gotham Cafe's central location, please-all menu and reasonable prices make it a popular spot with locals, visitors and students alike. Pizza is the main draw - voted the best in Ireland in the 2011 Global Pizza Challenge - and even makes an appearance on the brunch menu (imagine a posh full Irish breakfast in pizza form - yum). Non dough-based dishes include the likes of roast butternut squash and pumpkin seed linguini, crab cakes and large salads. Space is tight and service is jolly.
