Japanese noodles in the heart of Mitte

Located in a busy retail area of Mitte, Makoto is very popular with local office and shop workers who come here for the exceptional noodles and soups. The décor isn't anything wonderful, it's very much a functional place. Also, don't expect the staff to spend much time discussing the menu with you - they're too busy serving the hungry guests. If it's genuine, non-touristy Japanese cuisine you're after, then this fits the bill.

You'll find the usual sushi and sashimi, but it's the Ramen and Gyoza that brings people here in droves and, for central Berlin, the prices are very reasonable.
