Although the UK is where she currently calls home, Emily dreams of settling permanently in Perth, to which she frequently traveled whilst living in Western Australia. As a city that enjoys more sun-soaked days than any other in Australia, Perth celebrates every aspect of the great outdoors, from al fresco cocktails, to open-air markets, to days spent on one its many nearby beaches. There aren’t many cities in which you can shop in designer boutiques in the morning and snorkel over coral reefs in the afternoon. When she’s not daydreaming about lazy days spent on sun-drenched beaches, Emily is a freelance copywriter and journalist specializing in travel and beauty.

Parker was born and bred in Perth and still calls the world's most isolated
capital city home. She has lapped Australia in a
dusty four wheel drive too many times to count and still hasn't found a
better coastline than southwest WA, a better Sauvignon Blanc than a
Swan Valley variety or a better place to let her hair down at a summer music festival than Perth and its surrounds.
