Emma says she has everything she could wish for in Åre, and can often be found clutching a mug of hot chocolate on many a cold, dark winters' day. She describes the summer as her favourite period in the resort, when there's less tourists and she can enjoy the beaches and cycle around all the stunning surrounding nature.
Natalie learnt to ski when she was just three years old, and has been addicted to the slopes ever since. After moving to Stockholm to work for GuidePal as a writer, she discovered Åre and fell in love with its cozy vibe, ridiculously good food and laid- back nightlife almost immediately. Åre is no alps, that’s for sure, but the hot chocolate at Bustamnons and the occasional hectic Sunday at Timmerstugan make it a close second. What she loves the most, are those moments of calm, on the cross country paths between the pine tress in Ullådalen.
